I had started a comic about a year ago to tell a story that I have been aching to tell for years prior. My hopes were not modest but they were not outrageous either. I was hoping to get a couple of people to encourage it and once I got to a certain point I would look for an online spot to place it all. However the response was well lets face it it sucks, I can count the number of times people have posted on the comics deviations on one hand, and the total number of comments on two, some may say its a start but its just the lack of comments makes me feel negative. If they dont want to comment its probably either so bad no one likes it or just not good enough to strike interest, to which I ask myself
what am I doing wrong? In asking this question I think, my art isnt the best of the best in fact it really isnt that good at all and comics are usually shorthand of your normal art in order to make sure its easy to draw
so my original art isnt that good so my short hand is even worse. I would hope my jokes and content of the comic are good, but the lack of comments makes me think otherwise.
True it is not like I have not heard things about it from people some friends have shown their interest in the comic. I wish they got a bit more attention on DA but that is not always going to happen. I fear what on friend states is true that only fetish art is what people care about
Now to the point, there comes a time in every comics life to which the creator must ask himself should I continue? My awnser is undetermined
. So I ask you, should I continue with this comic or should I move on to bigger and better things while casting my story aside???
